Industrial Equipment Cleaning
Grease, oil, carbon, adhesives, residue, and buildup from machinery, motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, robotic systems, and molds.

Dry Ice Blasting Of America helps industrial, manufacturing, power generation, and facility teams clean equipment faster, safer, and with less downtime — no water, no grit, no secondary waste.
We serve facilities that cannot afford excessive downtime, chemical residue, moisture exposure, abrasive damage, or complicated waste disposal. Our team supports projects ranging from routine plant maintenance to power generation, HRSG cleaning, fire and soot restoration, mold remediation, food manufacturing, surface preparation, and contaminant removal.
Our process uses solid CO₂ pellets accelerated by compressed air. The pellets sublimate on impact — turning from solid to gas — leaving behind only the removed contaminant.
Grease, oil, carbon, adhesives, residue, and buildup from machinery, motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, robotic systems, and molds.
HRSG systems, SCR & CO catalyst cleaning, ammonia injection grids, tube bundles, and power generation maintenance.
Turbines, generators, switchgear, inlet houses, rotors, stators, and electrical components — no water, no grit.
Conveyors, mixers, packaging lines, ovens, bottle fillers, labelers. CO₂ is recognized by FDA as GRAS under cGMP.
Remove coatings, residue, paint, and contaminants before inspection, maintenance, repair, or coating work.
Mold, smoke residue, soot, odor-causing contaminants — without adding moisture to the work area.
Soot, char, and smoke residue from structural materials, machinery, production equipment, and restoration projects.
Molds, tooling, robotic cells, engine parts, paint overspray, adhesives, and release agents.

Learn moreDry ice blasting is an industrial cleaning method that uses compressed air to accelerate solid CO₂ pellets onto a surface. When the pellets hit the surface, they loosen contaminants and then sublimate from solid to gas, leaving no secondary blasting media behind.
Dry ice blasting is considered non-abrasive compared with sandblasting, grit blasting, or other abrasive cleaning methods. It can remove contaminants without etching, profiling, or significantly altering many underlying surfaces when properly applied.
Dry ice blasting does not create secondary blasting waste because the dry ice sublimates on impact. The only cleanup is typically the contaminant removed from the surface.
Dry ice blasting is a dry and non-conductive cleaning method, which makes it useful for many electrical and power generation applications when performed with proper safety procedures.
Cost depends on project size, contaminant type, surface, access, location, dry ice usage, compressor needs, safety requirements, and scheduling. Dry Ice Blasting Of America provides free estimates.
Dry ice blasting is better when the goal is to clean without abrasive media, surface profiling, grit cleanup, or secondary blasting waste. Sandblasting may still be used when aggressive surface profiling is required before coating.
